 About This Car:
This 1953 Nash-Healey Roadster is located for sale in San Diego, California at Motor Car Company. These are very rare and only 150 examples were made with the Pinin Farina Coachwork. This one for sale is one of the Final 40 Nash-Healey's ever made.  It also retains its original matching numbers engine.  This car came out of a beautiful car collection. We were told by the previous owners that this car was the one used in the 1954 hit film ‘Sabrina’ staring Audrey Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart and William Holding.  We do not have any supporting documentation, but we are putting that out there in case a potential buyer would like to do some research to find out. The green exterior over tan leather is one of the best color combinations this car came in when new. It is equipped with side windows, two tops, green matched hardtop, and a dark green soft-top. These cars are a pleasure to drive with the top up or down.  The numbers matching engine is a 6-cyl 253cid/140hp 2x1bbl engine with the Carte side-draft YH carburetors. The 3-speed manual transmission is equipped with overdrive and shifts smoothly. It is equipped with hydraulic drum brakes and independent front suspension with live rear axle that makes for a comfortable ride. The wire wheels with knock-off spinners are wrapped in Firestone Deluxe Champion Gum-Dipped tires. Serviced with new battery, oil filter, oil, spark plugs, fuel filter, new radiator hoses, brake master cylinder, coolant, brake fluid, and carburetors cleaned and adjusted.  Fully detailed and is ready for its new home.
